The Forney 100 STx is an ultra-compact stick and DC TIG welder for DIYers, homeowners and maintenance users who want pro-style control in a grab-and-go 120V package. This inverter-based machine delivers up to 100 amps of output for single-pass welding on 24 ga – 1/4 in. mild steel using common 3/32 – 1/8 in. electrodes, while arc force controls and lift start TIG provide smooth, precise performance on thin material and difficult joints. A bright passive LCD with large readout, 8.2 lb. chassis, carry strap and generator capability make it easy to see settings and weld wherever the work.
